Dance devised by Ian Barbour.

5 couple longwise set.

1 – 2             1^st and 3^rd couples cast off one place, 2^nd and 4^th couples move up.

3 – 8             1^st and 3^rd couples dance left hands across once and a half to finish facing 1^st corners.

9 – 12            3^rd and 1^st couple half reel of four with 1^st corners to finish facing 2^nd corners.

13 – 16           3^rd and 1^st couple half reel of four with 2^nd corners to finish facing 3^rd corner positions.

17 – 20           3^rd and 1^st couple half reel of four with ‘3^rd corners’ to finish 3^rd couple in 2^nd place on own sides, 1^st couple in 4^th place on own sides.

21 – 24           All five couples set to partner and cross over, giving right hand, to the opposite side.              Now 5,3,4,1,2.

25 – 28            5^th and 3^rd couple together, 4^th and 1^st couple together set and link.

29 – 32            3^rd and 5^th couple together, 1^st and  4^th couple together dance right hands across once round.

33 – 36            3^rd, 5^th, 1^st, 4^th and 2^nd couples set and link to lines across the dance.

37 – 40            Set and link to own side to finish 2,4,1,5,3.
