1-8 1st couple dance down the middle and back to place. 9-12 1st and 2nd couples dance rights and lefts half way round. 13-16 2nd and 1st couples dance right hands across once round. 17-18 2nd and 1st couples cross over giving right hands. 19-20 2nd and 1st couples set to partners, turning on the second setting step to face on the sidelines. 21-22 2nd and 1st couples change places giving right hands. 23-24 1st and 2nd couples set facing on the sidelines. 25-28 All couples dance half a reel of four on the sidelines. 29-32 4th, 3rd and 2nd couples dance half a reel of three on the sidelines.
NOTE In bars 25-32, 2nd couple effectively dance a full reel of three and then continue to dance up to top place.
This reel was written for Kimberley Osberg and her parents, kind friends in the Seattle area. The name in the title is Japanese and pronounced nee-koh.
