All the recordings are of live performances at the Blairgowrie Folk Festival between 1986 and 1995, and the artists featured on this recording have donated their tracks totally free of charge in order to support our endeavours. Unfortunately the recordings of Hamish Moore were not suitable for release due to dominant background noise. However, this project is largely the result of a conversation at the festival in 1986 between Hamish and myself, and we were very keen to include Hamish in this compliation. Therefore we thank Hamish and Ian D. Green of Greentrax for allowing us to include 'Battle of Waterloo'.
