Guitar Music + is Allan Y McDougall's third recording and the first to feature both his stirring instrumental work on the guitar, mandolin and bouzouki [with flute and bodhran] and two vocal tracks. 

The CD was recorded at Paisley's Blue Cat Studio and features 15 tracks of solo guitar, ensemble playing and song, including two of his own instrumental compositions. Allan is joined on the CD by Allan Whiteford [on flute] and Alan H Jamieson [on bodhran]

Recorded at the Foundry in Maryhill this set of tunes reflects Allan’s interest in re-interpreting Scottish and Irish material onto the acoustic guitar. The arrangements are honest and true – not too flashy, never pedestrian.
